Catalyst Day 2 Sessions and Video Wrap Up
Friday, Oct 10, 2008 at 10:03 PM
Again, I wasn't able to attend the sessions in full, but you can check out these links to read about some of them.
First, Brad Ruggles has a super impressive Catalyst rundown (complete with tips!)
Dave Ramsey's Session via Chris Martin
Franklin Graham via Tony Morgan
Andy Crouch (yes, the same one who broke the bongo table) via Bethany Hoang at IJM
Matt Chandler via Will Johnston
and
Andy Stanley's Closing Session via Tim Stevens
Also today they shared a story of a girl who was living in poverty, but got sponsored through Compassion International which changed her life, her confidence, and her future. Jeff Foxworthy was there, as was an African Children's choir. AWESOME.
I caught some thoughts from some people at the end...meet them below!
It’s All Fun & Games Until Your Bongo Breaks or Your Urinal Flushes
Friday, Oct 10, 2008 at 09:55 PM
In between interviews, sessions, and blogging, I had to find a little down time to relax from the non-stop Backstage demands. Today I wound down a bit with my friends Michael Trent and Andy Crouch.
Here's what happened...
First, Michael and Andy showed us their amazing rhythm...
And they weren't kidding when they gave me an All Access pass. I wanted to learn more about what Michael does and the only place with good lighting was...well, the bathroom. The boy's bathroom. We learn a little about the cool things he's a part of and...about urnials. Lots about urinals.
And there you have it...
Catalyst Backstage Video Overload!!!!!
Friday, Oct 10, 2008 at 11:35 AM
UStream has been a quirky lil bugger to work with, so unfortuantely some of the interviews that were broadcast live were not recorded. They disappeared into a blogging oblivion. The two that haven't showed up in our qeue are Mike Foster and Craig Groeschel. BIG BUMMER.
But every cloud has a silver lining, and that is we do have a ton of videos for you to peruse if you have missed the live broadcasts. We'll be adding more later tonight as well as Catalyst wraps up. We'll also have (hopefully) a big group of Catalyst Attenders come back here and share what's been going on (LIVE)...if not live, we'll definitely get it on the Flip. Depends on how much trouble I get in for sneaking a small crowd back into the production room.
Anyway, here are the links for the video interviews. Enjoy!
Hello, Goodbye - Catalyst Backstage Video #1 - Road Trip
Pimp my Ride - Catalyst Backstage Video #2 - Road Trip

Tim Stevens goes POP on Catalyst Backstage (My bad joke; his great content)
Pastor Steven Furtick BRINGS IT to Catalyst Backstage!!
Perry Noble & Tony Morgan (but no man hugs)
A few more coming soon!
Much love,
Anne
Speaker Interview Line Up for Friday
Friday, Oct 10, 2008 at 05:58 AM
Okay, as I mentioned earlier - flex and flow, right?
But here we have our best guess at when speaker interviews will appear live here on CatalystBackstage.com.
8:30 AM - Tim Stevens from Granger
10:15 AM - Perry Noble & Tony Morgan from Newspring, and Steven Furtick from Elevation Church
Sometime during the day, we'll also have some drop-ins: the guys from ROOV, Catlayst, and I may just grab some people from the arena and bring them down. Who knows?
Leave some questions in the comments for the speakers if you'd like. I think that'd rock!
See you later,
Anne
Video Tease for Tomorrow
Thursday, Oct 09, 2008 at 11:23 PM
We are having some issues with our video servers and getting the archived videos up right now. But I had some Flip footage of a backstage interview, as well as a few minutes of Seth Godin's session...it's rough, but enjoy! Hopefully we'll have the full interviews up tomorrow.
Good night for now!
